I know that this subject has been talked about , and I thought I had it down but apparently I don't. We played at a an outside back yard family party. My fender  212R Frontman sounded really distorted I had my amp volume at 7 and my pick up column at 7. I finally just went through the mixer and the sound was dull and muddy. Any new and fresh ideas out there. Thanks in advance.[confused]

More then likely if this doesn't happen all the time is your amp wasent getting 120 volts of power. If your amp.is not getting 120 volts from the power outlet it will sound dirty distorted. But there are alot of things to take into consideration.but my bet is that was the problem.
