Just received my Hohner Corona II...never played diatonic before...have played piano accordion for little over a year...purchased teaching dvd which teaches playing mostly on bellows pull...Hohner manual shows playing scales both pulling and pushing...the question I have is which technique do most players subscribe to...also noticed that on the Hohner the bass buttons work but I understand most don't play bass or have the buttons disabled...if playing on bellows pull, does anything know where I can get a handchart...thanks in advance

Well if you want to be a complete accordion player keep the bajos.

Keep them only if you need them, otherwise, is much easier to play. and I don't think it makes you less of an accordion player.
