Pretty sure this question has been answered before but I have a question about the difference between Classic reeds and Regular reeds? I need new FA reed blocks for my Corona Dos Classic and not sure which to buy.. all of them on the internet say the reeds work for them all (Panther, Compadre, Corona II, and classic) Help please! Haha thanx.

Hi,

Hohner uses the same reed blocks throughout the range - Panther, Compadre, Corona II and Corona II Classic.  They are all manufactured in Germany - Hohner doesn't manufacture reed blocks in China. The reed blocks are sent to China for assembly in the Made-in-China range (Panther, Compadre, Corona II 3500). However, with the Classic (made in Germany), an extra tuning step is performed while the reeds blocks are inside the accordion.

The part number for the F/Bb/Eb treble reed blocks: TA12039
and if you also want the bass reeds: TA14057
