The L = low octave reed , M = middle octave reed.
Hohner Corona Compadre Panther and 3 switch accordions have two MM reeds per button
5 switch accordions have 3 reeds per button LMM.
This setup gives the sound of the bandon switch on a 5 switch accordion

Good entrepreneurship ambition.  Como dice Janet (well-known giant car dealer en South Texas aca en el Rio Grande Valley), "Dale Gas!"

Hey Daniel very cool. You did a set of Panther reeds in Octavada for me a while back. (Ramiro in Washington). Does changing form original Panther MM to Octavada change it to LL for the first 5 buttons on each row? Thanks Compa.[biggrin]

Que onda Ramiro. I remember your Reed blocks they were octavada the first five buttons higher one octave which is MH.
Octavada can go both ways L= lower or H= higher one octave from the M= middle reed
When you add the L=lower reed it makes the sound more lower

Ok so since I am a rookie at this. What you are saying is that my reeds after you worked on them are now in a higher pitch! Is this on the in and out for the first 5 buttons?

Yes and no. It's in between since MM reeds was converted to MH reeds only one Reed per button was swapped for a reed an octave higher on your reeds. That's what they call Jazz tuning.
