What is the quality of the Gabbs made from Elio?

Reed quality? A Mano or Tipo a mano?

What is your overall rating?

I have owned previous old gabbs so I know a little but not much about the true Italian models.

He quoted me $3600 for a compact 5 shift with shipping.

I ordered one a few years back. Really good for the price. But he didnt put handmade reeds. And it didnt sound anything like a Brilingtton. The other bad thing is it might be tough to sell it. But for the price, its a ver good accordion.

That's pretty much what he quoted me last year as well.

This is what he replied:

Hello Mario,

the full price for the one accordion 5 switch in FA is $ 3600; in the price are included the luxe case, straps, decoation, hand made professional reeds and shipping.

About the size of the instrument, I can make compact or not.

There are not difference for the sound and the price.

Elio Gabbanelli

I'm not too sure what is meant by "hand made professional reeds", other things came up that prevented me from making a purchase, so I did not follow up.

Thanks guys!
