Looks great! I also have a Corona III R and I would like to do this modification but the grill I have is of the newer ones and I don't think it would fit. How did you make the holes on the grill?

I used a step drill bit to make the holes. I believe the final hole size was 7/16 but that depends on the button size you are going to use. I have another one I did but used a different method.
