Are reed blocks sold by Rows or do they have to be ordered as a set?
Anyone savvy?

Usually they're sold as complete sets. I've never seen a single block of reeds sold alone, unless maybe an accordion tuner does it as a one-off for a customer.

my F row on my FBbEB accordion looks warped. I didn't want to have to purchase the whole set. Gonna have to check the treble side for breaks or cracks.

I frequently level the bottoms of reedblocks using coarse sandpaper.

I'll try that.  I've already built a block but haven't had a chance to transfer the reeds onto it.  It looks identical but I hope I don't end up worse. I don't want to have different notes sounding at the same time.
