With iOS 9 coming out next week, I’m sure that some of my oldest apps are going to have issues or crash under the new OS. This happens to lots of apps every time Apple does a major new release.

Please know that I’ll be actively working to update those apps, but it’s going to take some time to triage and prioritize the updates.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!

I've submitted updates for all the Hohner iPad apps to Apple as of Oct 2, assuming no issues in review, they should be available as free updates on the iTunes App Store around October 8. This includes all the 31 and 34 button apps as well as the Cajun IV. All the two-row iPad apps have already been updated and are now on the store.

The new versions also include sound improvements for iOS 7 and 8.

Starting with this version of the GCF 31-button iPad SqueezeBox app, I will no longer be including the built-in tabs feature on the CGF app. If you have iOS 7 or 8 and wish to keep the tabs feature, do not update to the new version. If you have iOS 9, you'll need to update to the new version to fix issues Apple introduced with sound changes on iOS 9, but will lose the tabs feature.

I don't know if anyone cares about this feature, but I'm doing this to simplify the apps and make them more maintainable. if there is a huge backlash about taking them out, I can consider adding them back in the future, but would prefer not to as I'm not sure they were actually very useful. If they were useful to you, drop me a note and let me know,

Next, I'll be updating all the iPhone Mini-SqueezeBox apps to fix audio issues on iOS 9 as well as add iPhone 5/6 support to the FBbEb and EAD versions to match the GCF version features.
