Entre gustos se rompen generos.

It never entered my mind that Native Americans would play this type of music.  Yes, they mostly live on the US/Mexican border, but they have their own Indian Nation.  They have been able to borrow from other cultures and develop their own style of music.  They call it WAILA DANCE MUSIC.  This is the first of a three part series.  View each part in turn.

Its austonding the way they adopted/adapted this kind of music..!! its a specimen of how people from everywhere can be able to make things in the same way than everybody...no matter where they are...  viva la musica..!!

i use to play in one of these bands bout 2 years ago i quit for personal reasons but the music that you see from those videos have changed its more on a slow pace alot more sonidero cumbias but we try and mix well i did at the time when i was playn alot of Conjunto and Tejano into what i was playn..I am a Tohono O'Odham Native from the Tohono O'odham Reservation in Arizona i live in tucson now i still play and will continue to play even tho i am no longer associated with any band ...its in my blood but i am lookn to join one hopefully soon
