Hello. I recently purchased a pre corona. It has a few issues. There were a few stuck reeds and bent valves but I got those squared away and it sounds great now. However I noticed that it looses a bit more air than my Corona classic. I inspected the bellows and narrowed it down to a bellow fold in which the inner fold fabric (or paper, not sure what material it is) has been torn right down the middle. The first picture is of that fold from the top of the accordion, it runs on the same fold to the front of the accordion(second picture) The bottom and back are fine. What can I do to fix this? Maybe a fix from the inside? I plan on re-taping the bellows as well. Also the button action is nice and low. However The buttons depress way past the keyboard plate and into the hole and the buttons make a clanking sound. There is some green felt under the buttons but It might be too worn. Would new felt or other type of material under the buttons help? Thank you.

What's up Skoto88. The orange color paper is use to cover the raw bellows paper. If it is leaking air from that area you need to check the inside of the bellows for any tears and repair as needed. You might want to replace the bellows frame seal also. New felt under the buttons will help with the buttons sinking in to far, might have to double up on the felt to get the right height

Thank you again for all your help. I have added some padded double sided tape and a layer of felt on top of that and the button height is perfect now. I checked the inside of the bellows and there is a previous repair job on the inside of that bellow fold with the split. They added regular black bellow tape on the inside but it's not air tight as I can still feel a little air leaking through. Would you take off the repair bellow tape and replace with something else to seal it? The gasket is a newer type of foam and seems to be sealin properly. The pins are also tight and have no air leaks. I'll post a pic when I get home.
