Not that i know of, i cant find any work that has ever been done on it...but im not 100% certain...

I think it has to be older, maybe early 80's...but I'm just guessing because idk when Mr. Reyes stopped making instruments...

No, not for sale...I'll keep using it, as it has an amazing sound...clean, crisp and solid at every fret...

This one is a 70's. Look at how dark the finish is already due to aging. Yours looks lighter in color. So yes possibly 80 but more like late 80 to early 90's. Very nice bajo though.

Yes, it's a Reyes...My Dad Lupe Sr. Played bajo with Alfredo de La Rosa for many years, i saw him play Macias, Reyes and the last one he played was custom made for me by Ignacio Barajas Jr.

So yeah, i know a little about Reyes... I just don't know the age of this one that i recently purchased...

After closer looking it HAS been refinished and has an amazing sound!!!

Definitely a reyes bajo. Ive personally seen two others with that headstock.
