I bought my first accordion about 9  years ago, its a Chinese Santa Marsala in SOL. I only managed to learn the G scale and got discouraged so I stuffed it in a closet. Earlier this year I pulled it out and started messing around on it and remembered the scale so I decided to buy me a Panther cause I wanted something better. I've taken a few lessons and am getting better but I'm wondering if I should sell my first accordion or not. I could use the money towards a trip next month but am a little hesitant about selling it. Have any of you guys sold off your first box and regretted it down the road?

Aside from sentimental value if you dont play it any more it is just gathering dust and going to waste.

My first box was a Hohner Corona IIIR. My second box was a Corona II in the key of F#BE.

I've thought about them from time to time, but don't miss them personally. You play boxes, you get new ones, you move on and allow them to have another life. I think the buddha said that, actually.

I'm playing a bit of catch up here. So many posts since I've been gone. Haha!
