Hello all, I still love my new Corona ll, but I have discovered that the air release button on the Corona ll is smaller than the one on the Compadre. For some this might not make a difference, but for me it is hindering my playing as my thumb keeps slipping off. Can I buy a bigger button to replace the smaller one? Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Do you mean the height of the button.

I am talking about the air release button/ switch  on the left side of the accordion that you depress with your thumb to make the bellows move. The one on the Corona is shorter/smaller than the one on the Compadre.

You can replace it with a taller button or raise the whole valve mechanism with a wood shim.
I had the same problem with a customer who plays left handed and want a extra air release on the opposite side.

Thanks Danial El Mero Ch---on. I'll look on the net to see where I may find one.
