i don't really know how to ask this question but ill do my best. Can anyone tell me why some people start to sing backwards in songs? I have noticed this with some new songs but mostly with older songs.

as you can see in this video with Cadetes de linares in "lamberto quintero" ; they start backwards with the bass.

also in this newer song with Los Alegres del barranco " el encuentro" they do the same.

do they do this on purpose or are they just bad at timing?

Some questions:

When you say "bad timing" are you talking about the tempo of the song?

When you say "people start to sing backwards in songs" are you talking about the melody of the vocals and the accordion intro? Do the vocal and accordion sequences seem to move in a backwards motion? Is that what you are asking?

I could be wrong but in the first song they enter singing on the first beat and in the second song they enter on the third beat- 1 2 3, 1 2 3 , 1 2 3  Just my opinion!

I'm not understanding the question either but I think both songs start on pick up notes and not actually on beat 1, they start on the "AND" of 4,
1 and 2 and 3 and 4 "AND" 1 and......
