Bought a Vamonos and the battery light lit up red.  Put in new alkalines and still red and very low sound.  Might someone here have had the same problem?

Hmmm... that's strange.  No issues of that sort here.  I've done about 6 or 7 battery changes on my already and haven't had that problem.  Might want to contact the dealer you bought it from and get it swapped out, if you haven't already.

Thanx Sqweezboxmaniac,
I think that's the best thing to do. Musiciansfriend told me a tech guy would call.  They said they didn't have any in stock right now to replace it. Can't remember where I saw the same unit for $387.  I might order one from there and get my money back from MF.
