If we are talking groups with brass and keyboard, I would have to say Ruben Ramos and the Mex Revolution, Little Joe and the Latinaires, Ram Herrera, Gary Hobbs, Eddie Perez, there's un friego hard to name 1 x 1. Accordion groups would have to include David Lee, Oskar Hernandez, all the Tejas Conjunto groups you guys mention here from time to time.

Ruben Ramos "Las Cuatro Paredes Viejas"
Gary Hobbs "Las Miradas"
Little Joe   "Las Nuves"
Eddie Perez "Despues del Coraje"
Oskar's CD 'Playin with Myself"
David Lee---any of his polkas

Hmm.. "Tejano Group" as in groups from Texas, or the estilo of music?  If it's the estilo that is being referred to then I'd put Lobo IV in this category; their music strikes me as tejano-y at times...so in that case, they're my favorite "sometimes sounds Tejano-y band".  I also like Ruben Ramos and the Mexican Revolution...especially the danzones that he plays and Rick Fuentes's accordion playing.  Yaya!  Grupo Alamo from San Anto has good dancing music, too!

Ya que estamos en lo Tejano, does anyone know where I can find the music of Alfonso Ramos, Ruben Ramos' older brother.  He used to have a big orchestra that sounded terrific, like in the big band era. He used to do boleros and danzones from Mexico that used to sound de aquellitas. He's the first I heard that song "El Pintor" and "Brindo y Me Rio"
